Haunted Pop.  A term that best describes and is reserved solely for Moonlight Bride.  Our latest release (the aptly titled Dead Language), explores what it means to be dark yet warm, quiet yet loud, refined yet still retaining an often chilling rawness.

"I feel like good stripped down songwriting is becoming a lost art. Our generation is obsessed with the flash and flare of some pawn dancing around and pressing a couple of buttons and calling it electronic or dub- step. Dead Language is anti that."

Dead Language is sort of b-side compilation. It's a group of songs we recorded and always liked but just didn't seem to fit with the material that we’ve been putting together for the new album. We hope you enjoy them. We're working hard on a new full length release for 2013.

We decided to do a cover from the man himself, Iggy Pop. Here's our take on the infamous tune, Gimme Danger. Big thanks to Draft H Motion Pictures and Teethmarx for putting this together.

In may we rode up to do some shows in Chicago and ended up swinging by Rock Island to do a Daytrotter session. It turned out to be the highlight of the trip. We'd never recorded to tape before.
